New Officials: Come Join Us! November 6 - 8, 2026

Interested in getting involved in ski racing? You don’t need to be an experienced racer or have years of knowledge to get started. Parents, coaches, former racers, volunteers, and anyone interested in being part of our ski racing community are welcome.

Our entry-level courses are a great way to learn the rules, understand how races operate, and discover the many ways you can contribute to a race crew.

The Saturday and Sunday courses are intended for new officials seeking initial certification. If you’re already certified as a Referee or Jury Advisor, please plan to attend Friday’s update instead.

Returning Officials: Annual Updates

Annual updates are now required every year. All returning officials should plan to attend an update session appropriate for their certification and this season’s requirements.

For currently certified Referees and Jury Advisors, the in-person update is scheduled for Friday, November 6, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. If you can’t attend in person, the November 30 and December 7 Zoom sessions offer additional opportunities to review updates.

Our goal is to provide education opportunities within Alaska whenever possible. If you can’t attend one of our sessions, other divisions offer clinics and exams throughout the season. We encourage you to explore those options if needed.
