You must attend in person if you are taking the course for the first time, or are renewing a certification that has expired prior to 2022.   Basically – if you need to sit for an exam, you must attend in person.

This course is for officials that already have their TC certification and only need their biannual update to maintain certification. This course will go over the same material as the full course at a faster pace. This course is offered online only; a link to the meeting will be sent to registered participants prior to the course.
 
Pre-requisites: TC1 or higher certification; please read the “Alpine Officials Update & Review Season 2025” available on the Alpine Competition Officials Education Resources page in late October.

This certification is for those who wish to pursue race day TC supervision or TD certification. Officials requiring an update only may attend the morning session. This is an in person course only.
 
Pre-Requisites for Students seeking NEW certification:  Alpine Officials membership and successful completion of Competition Officials (CO) exam online. Print and read the TC1 study guide and complete the sample test at the end of the study guide, bring these items to class. Additional information with more detail will be sent to registered participants.
